During the first half of this year, the Taichung Branch of the Administrative Enforcement Agency facilitated internship training for 14 students from the Department of Finance and Law at Asia University. In order to deepen their experience in diverse aspects of agency operations, the Ethics Office recently organized a series of courses under the theme 'Guiding Youth Towards Integrity in Action'. These included sessions on integrity in practice and observation exercises, aimed at allowing interns to explore the significance of 'integrity' and 'honesty' values in the workplace.
Furthermore, to establish a campus integrity network and enhance anti-corruption advocacy efforts, the Ethics Office has appointed interns as integrity education ambassadors. Collaborating with faculty and students from the Department of Finance and Law at Asia University, they are promoting legal education programs for primary and secondary schools and community outreach. Together, they are conducting anti-corruption advocacy activities on campuses, advocating and promoting the values of integrity and honesty through creative, lively, yet professional approaches suitable for the new generation.
During the aforementioned integrity work experience activities, Director Zuo-Yan Wu of the branch personally engaged in discussions with the interns. Beyond exchanging ideas, he shared personal career experiences and insights into public service, encouraging students to consider careers in the public sector. He emphasized the importance of striving for excellence in any field and maintaining personal integrity, stressing that these qualities are essential for achieving long-term success and making a significant impact.
